ARPI’S INDUSTRIES, Calgary’s number one residential service, retrofit and new home installation company is looking for service plumbers and boiler install/ service technicians.
We are an equal opportunities company seeking an experienced service plumber/technician with the abilities to work on all aspects of hydronic heating & boiler system including installation & service.
Having your cross-connection certificate is not required, but it is an asset to fulfilling this position.
We seek experience and creativity as our technicians are required to efficiently complete their duties with minimal supervision and in a timely manner.
Humble confidence and capability along with good communication/social skills is a must. This is a frontline position. Honesty, consideration and customer service is the primary focus of this job.
Mentoring & training is also a component of this position. We are looking for individuals that can occasionally work with an apprentice and demonstrate proper process and procedures to those still in the learning stages of their trade.

Job Description
- Primarily residential plumbing service with light commercial service duties on occasion. Installations of residential boilers and tankless water heaters if required
- Trouble shoot problems associated with Boiler, Furnace, Hot Water Tanks and similar devices.
- Communicate with home owners to explain situations encountered in the service call and proper repair processes.
- Expedite these processes with efficiency and ability.
- Investigate leaks and make repairs as required.
- Repair/replacement of various plumbing fixtures and devices.
- Install and commission water softeners and water filtration systems.
- Responsible for collecting of sales at the completion of each job. Resources and training to fulfill these responsibilities is provided.
- Be social media savvy and always represent the company in a good light.
Qualifications
- You possess a Journeyman – Red seal or 2nd/3rd year apprentice
- You have a minimum 2 years experience
- Prior residential plumbing service experience
- Bondable
- You can be entrusted to do the work correctly and work independently
- You have the ability to deal with unforeseen issues and overcome obstacles
